About

Since 2013 I have worked in support of mental health.

This is because I feel passionate about advancing mental well-being through talking therapy.

I value helping others to develop compassion, resilience and understanding.

Beverley Bond Dip Therapeutic Counselling BA (Hon’s)

I have extensive experience of both managing a therapeutic service and providing therapeutic interventions; in both the public and private sector within the Doncaster and Rotherham community. However, I now work in independent private practice.

Over recent years, I have developed a specialist interest in the relationship between trauma and psychological development from childhood through to adult life. Of particular interest to me, is the impact of trauma upon both the mind and the body.

I work in an adaptive and responsive way; drawing on different therapeutic approaches according to the needs and preferences of the individual.

Throughout therapy, emphasis is placed upon the development of a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship. This helps to support exploration of an individuals relationship with their mental health.

To maintain the highest quality and professional standards, I am a  professionally registered member of the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP).

I take regard professional accountability and access regular clinical supervision, continuous professional development and training which help to enhance the quality of service provided.
