About

Since 2013 I have worked in support of mental health.

I feel passionate about advancing mental well-being through talking therapy; helping others to develop compassion, resilience and understanding.

Beverley Bond Dip Therapeutic Counselling BA (Hon’s)

I have extensive experience of both managing a therapeutic service and providing therapeutic interventions in both the public and private sector within the Doncaster and Rotherham community. I now work in independent private practice.

Over recent years, I have developed a specialist interest in the relationship between trauma and psychological development from childhood through to adult life. Of particular interest to me, is the impact of trauma upon both the mind and the body.

I work in an adaptive and responsive way, drawing on different therapeutic approaches according to the needs and preferences of the individual.

Throughout therapy, emphasis is placed upon the development of a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship to enable individuals to understand their relationship with their mental health.

To maintain the highest quality, professional standards I am a  professionally registered member of the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP

I access regular clinical supervision, and continuous professional development and training.
